This cake was made for one of my dearest gal pal’s birthday. Her style is a unique and fresh mix of feminine with an edge. I love balancing hard and soft in my cake designs, so this was right up my alley. Five layers of fresh strawberry cake with a light strawberry cream filling stacked into one of my most favorite cakes to date. Topped with buttercream hydrangea and cinched with a gold studded ribbon, there’s no denying the sophistication of this cake.
