With Mother’s Day right around the corner, many of us are on the hunt for the perfect gift. This year, skip the stores and restaurants and get in the kitchen. Give mom the gift of brunch, just don’t forget the mimosa supplies! These quick and easy cinnamon rolls have a little sugar and little spice to Mother’s Day oh-so nice!

  • 1 Can of Crescent Rolls
  • 3 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp melted Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Milk
  • ⅓ C Powder Sugar
  • Zest of half an orange
For the Cinnamon Rolls:
  1. Unfold the crescent rolls from the can onto a cutting board.
  2. Pinch together any seams that may have come loose.
  3. Brush with melted butter.
  4. Mix brown sugar, sugar and cinnamon together and spread on top.
  5. Roll the dough into a spiral log and cut into 1-2in sections.
  6. Spray a round baking dish with non-stick spray and place in cinnamon rolls.
  7. Bake at 375 for about 10-15 minutes, until golden brown.
For the Glaze:
  1. In a bowl, zest half of an orange.
  2. Mix zest, milk and powder sugar until thick.
  3. Allow the rolls to cool slightly and drizzle glaze over top.
  4. Enjoy!
