It wasn’t until last spring when I really started to obsess over grilling. After ending a five year streak of being Pescatarian and just really wanting to bite into a burger, I changed my ways. I went to visit my brother in Florida last Spring where he taught me how to use a chimney on a charcoal grille.
Lighter fluid is pretty entertaining, however, it isn’t something I want cooked into my food. A chimney is simple in design and practical to use. Simply fill the bottom with paper [see, we’re already recycling and making good life decisions!], then dump coals on top and light the paper. Once the top layer turns ashy, dump into your grille and tah-dahhhh!
From there you can pretty much cook anything from meat, to vegetables, to fruit for dessert! The options are endless and the outcome is always delish!
